Kronach, 28th April 2022. Two years after its relaunch, Loewe has positioned itself as a luxury brand for consumer electronics in the market. The German manufacturer has convinced technology and design experts as well as consumers of the new products and solutions “Made in Germany”. In its tradition for almost a century, Loewe has committed itself to driving innovations in technology and using the industry’s highest quality components to perfecting superior functionality and elegance of designs. Those values have been honored by industry and design experts with an impressive number of prestigious awards in the past few months.
Top Brand for Smart Homes.
Loewe is particularly proud of its new award as "Top Brand for Smart Homes " awarded by the magazine Computer Bild in the category of "Smart TVs". Together with the research institute Statista, Computer Bild surveyed more than 2,500 smart home owners from all over Germany. This representative consumer study was conducted to gather consumer feedback on objective criteria including purchase, installation, set-up and daily usage. Loewe bild i and Loewe bild c televisions were especially well-rated by the participants. Consumers confirmed Loewe as one of the top brands in the smart home segment.
Ever since, the design of a Loewe product has been timeless, highly functional and minimalistic in its aesthetics and Loewe hold true to these guiding principles until today. Experts on the committee of the international Red Dot award ceremony appreciated the sophisticated design. Nine Loewe products won the Red Dot design award, a worldwide seal of best design. The television sets Loewe bild c and We. By Loewe SEE as well as Loewe klang mr multi-room system speakers, the Loewe floor2ceiling stand and the Loewe floor stand flex floor-set up solutions were honored with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
Loewe is also winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, the world-renowned design prize. Seven entries were among the winning products. These include the Loewe bild c model series and the Loewe floor2ceiling stand set-up solution, receiving awards in the discipline "Products", in the category "TV/Cameras". The Loewe campaign, created together with Netflix, was won in the discipline "Communications”, the "Campaigns/Advertising". Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD.
Loewe products won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world. The competition was intense: almost 11,000 entries were submitted from 57 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.
Not only consumers and design experts are impressed by Loewe. The testers and editors of popular trade magazines have also top-rated Loewe products. Testers at HiFi.de recently gave the Loewe bild i.55 dr+ their best possible grade, quoting it an "exceptional TV" for television and streaming. They praised the convenient features such as the integrated hard drive, the user-friendly menu and the outstanding picture quality. Those top features were also confirmed by the experts at the magazine Computer Bild, who honored the Loewe bild i.65 dr+ with a top rating, emphasizing that its picture quality meets “the very highest standards”.
Overall, Loewe has secured more than 20 awards in the German-language trade and industry media for consumer electronics since its relaunch.
